Nuclear Industry Thrives in the U.S., but for Export

Due to the regulatory climate and the demand for base load power, the U.S. nuclear industry focuses on manufacturing parts for foreign reactors, rather than exploring new nuclear designs like the TWR. In fact, many of these new designs are being exported to other countries where the need is greater.
