BELLEVUE, WA – August 31, 2026 – TerraPower, a nuclear innovation company, today announced the selection of 12 supplier awards as it continues to build out the supply chain needed to support its first Natrium plant, Kemmerer Unit 1, and secure American energy dominance for generations. Kemmerer Unit 1 is currently under construction in Wyoming and is the first utility-scale advanced reactor project under construction in the Western Hemisphere.
“Securing supplier contracts is fundamental to establishing the resilient and sustainable supply chain needed to build advanced nuclear plants,” said Pat Young, senior vice president and Natrium project director at TerraPower. “With each contract awarded, we are strengthening our network of qualified partners and ensuring critical milestones are met as we bring the Natrium reactor to market.”
These equipment awards support the construction of the Natrium plant, as well as support completion of the first-of-a-kind sodium test and fill facility that is also being constructed on the Natrium site in Wyoming.
Through these award selections for the first Natrium plant, TerraPower is establishing a resilient and sustainable supply chain to bring a fleet of Natrium reactors online in the coming decade.

About the Natrium Technology The Natrium technology is the first mover in the advanced reactor sector and is well positioned to support rapidly increasing energy demand. The Natrium plant design features a 345 MW sodium-cooled fast reactor with a patented molten salt-based energy storage system.
